How to Choose Domains for Vocabulary Mapping Workshop

This page does not include a specific "how to" guide, but it does include some items (possibly overlapping) to consider when choosing which domains to include in a vocabulary mapping workshop:

• hot topic domains, i.e., domains for which work is urgently needed
• domains for which many different "controlled" vocabularies are in use
• domains that are defined (or narrow) enough to permit real progress
• domains for which you can populate a team with sufficient expertise and numbers of participants
• domains that are relatively simple
