Sensor Metadata Workshop - May 2007
The complete (Word) workshop report has been posted on the web site, and a professional layout is under way. A joint release will be held with the Alliance for Coastal Technologies. A sensor interoperability planning page was established.
Final edits to the Word version of the report were completed, including presentation of statistics from the survey. The participants gave the workshop good marks overall, but some areas needed improvement (training, time allocation). Given the complexity of the workshop and the various challenges we faced, the survey results and comments are quite positive.
The Alliance for Coastal Technologies has agreed on a joint release of our workshop reports; details are being planned. In hopes of creating momentum toward common attempts to improve sensor interoperability, MMI created a Sensor Metadata interoperability planning page to centralize information on this topic.
