Global Change Master Directory list of Location Keywords, hierarchical format, no codes.

GCMD list of Location keywords has 6-tier hierarchy: Category > Type > Sub-Region1 > Sub-Region2 > Sub-Region3 > Location. An example of this for an ocean region: Ocean > Pacific Ocean > South Pacific Ocean > Polynesia > Norfolk Island. Informal user addition of keywords, see: Procedure for Keyword Modification.
