Unidata's Informal Interoperability Experiment: Geo-interface for Atmosphere, Land, Earth, and Ocean netCDF

GALEON (Gateway or Geo-interface for Air Land Earth Ocean NetCDF) is Unidata's OGC Interoperability Experiment.

The project will be both a formal OGC Interoperability Experiment related to the Web Coverage Service (WCS) interface specifications, and a set of software implementation experiments which, it is hoped, will go beyond the OGC membership into the world of OPeNDAP, LAS, THREDDS, NetCDF, etc.
