Content Standards Field Comparison Matrix: Introduction
As part of its mission, the Integrated Ocean Observing System Data Management and Communications (IOOS DMAC) Metadata Expert Team has been working on a list of the fields represented in various content standards. While the work is likely to continue for some time, MMI has been given permission to post and modify a separately maintained version, referenced here.
MMI encourages contributions to this document from the environmental science metadata community. Any such contributions will also be provided to the IOOS DMAC Metadata Expert Team, which may integrate some, all, or none of the additional material, as it sees fit. To contribute to the development of this matrix or provide comments on the existing field comparisons, please send email to csmatrix(@)marinemetadata.org.
