Building Community and Governance at Fall AGU

AGU FAll Meeting 2007

Special session focusing on Building Community and Governance within Earth and Space Science Content Models (IN12)

Description from AGU Conference Website:
This topical session is designed to provide a forum for any investigator working on data models and structures, schemas, and ontologies across all earth and space science domains to try better coordinate and rationalize these efforts. Proposals to define a preferred governance model that will help accelerate cross and within discipline sharing of Earth and Space Science data are also welcome. The goal of this session is to provide a better understanding on how semantics are penetrating into content provided by Earth Science communities and what governance and community processes have been laid out.
