Website - October 2007
The Tech Team made a final commitment to using the Drupal content management system for the new MMI website. Tech Team members were enlisted and shown how to participate in development of the new site. We continued to import content, worked with the Tech Team on the site's taxonomy, worked with the Guides Team on Drupal modules for feedback and glossary support, and refined the Organic Groups implementation on the Drupal site.
The MMI project recently made a final commitment to using Drupal content management system as the backend for the emerging MMI website. Much time was spent in October further educating MMI staff in how to participate in the development of the MMI website. Activities included:
- a continuing effort to import content from the plone site into he drupal site,
- working with members of the MMI technical committee to develop an initial keyword controlled vocabulary to be used to tag both existing plone content to be imported and new drupal content to be developed,
- helping the guides team to evaluate drupal modules that provide capabilities in the areas of user feedback and glossary support, and
- further refinement of the way in which groups will be setup on the drupal site.
