User Roles - Functionalities Explained
Members are provided additional functionality as their role on the site increases. We utilize a variety of "User Roles" on the MMI site. The functionalities are additive - that is, you will will retain all functionality as your role increases.

Move content to different states and edit a document submitted for review Normally, this will involve scanning materials marked "needing review" and making them public or sending them back to the author(s) for revision |
Assigned by Project Manager to individuals who have expertise in specific areas, and can adequately review content |
Content Manager |
Perform almost any action on a piece of content Monitor and access all content on site (view/edit) Administer certain modules that are key to content presentation |

Site - Admin |

Site Architect |
Make structural changes to the site All privileges are available with the exception of "outline posts in books". Analagous to a superuser on unix. |
Assigned by Project Manager to individuals who are involved in organizing the MMI web community |
Trashman |
Delete content that has been marked "pending-delete" in the workflow. |
Assigned by Project Manager to individuals who have expertise in specific areas, and can adequately delete content |
