Ocean Teacher is a guidebook provided by UNESCO/IOC to guide the creation of oceanographic data systems. It assumes no prior knowledge of oceanography or data management, its target audience being individuals who may not have been exposed to one or the other (or either) disciplines.
Comments
The content is generally well-written and accurate, and is strikingly comprehensive.
Because it makes so few assumptions about prior knowledge, this is a good resource for system developers new to either oceanography or data management to come up to speed.
The presentation on the web does require browser frames.
