The conference theme, ""Cartography, spatial analysis and visualization for environmental sustainability"", encourages diverse topics related to new philosophy, new technology and new solution to enrich the future development of Geoinformatics.

Deadline for abstracts: March 31, 2007

Since CPGIS's inception in 1992, the series of International Conference on Geoinformatics have provided a highly attractive opportunity of gathering and knowledge exchange for professionals and practitioners worldwide. This conference will also act as the major event of the 50th anniversary of the cartography specialization at Nanjing University and the 15th anniversary of CPGIS. The conference will include keynote speeches, parallel sessions, panel discussion and special forums. All accepted papers will be included in a conference proceeding. Selected papers, through a peer-review process, will be published as a special issue of international journal or an edited book.
