Tools need for an OOS vocabularies workshop

Voc2OWL/RDF http://marinemetadata.org/voc2owl - Voc2RDF service is good, but could use more instructions on how to best save the resulting file (including extension to use) and import to VINE

VINE http://sourceforge.net/projects/vine - updates needed: help files, better display of mapping results, others?

Ontology registry and tools - to be developed at MMI. Draft registry at: http://www.mmisw.org:9600/registry/. Need to provide ability to submit to the registry.

Other tools to allow input/integration with target end applications (e.g., OceansIE, OOSTethys, IOOS Observations Registry)

Vocabulary server? - mentioned in John's email 4/10/08

Catalog function for vocabularies? Semantic mediator (e.g., ICAN's Semantic Mediation Tool)? - mentioned in Matt's email 4/15/08
