Smart folders: Views have been created to replicate the content of almost all smart folders.

Things Done

(www.)mmisw.org: Our new web site, http://mmisw.org, is now accessible and presenting (most) web services.
Duplicate content: We believe that duplicated content has been taken care of; tell us if you see otherwise.

Mailman access restored: http://mmi.mbari.org/mailman
Groups content: Most groups' content is presentable. We are now in continual improvement mode.

Enhanced taxonomy-based navigation: Implemented, see Navigation by Taxonomy help page.
Improved alias and redirect management: Implemented and in use (though not directly visible to most users).

Things Deferred

A number of features are 'this close' to going operational, but have been put off in light of the higher priorities above. These include:

Improved processes/documentation for creating and managing node URLs and the URL Path taxonomy (this is hard)
Forums (needs good email notification capabilities)
Projects/Issues (used internally to track site issues, but not sure when/if we want to use it for MMI projects)
Improved Book tools -- e.g., to search within the Guides, or within another book (collection of small tasks, status tbd)
