Website - December 2007
A prototype of the new Drupal site was presented at Fall AGU, along with a poster, ""MMI: Increasing Community Collaboration."" The transition plan was refined to reflect our experiences building up specific areas of the site and issues that emerged during that process.
Feedback from the demonstration of the site at AGU was compiled into a spreadsheet. More feedback was requested from the Tech Team and discussed during a telecon in the last week of December.
The use of tags added to items on the Plone site by members of the Technical Team was reviewed during the telecon. Drupal relies on taxonomic classification of content to provide its "views", which are the equivalent of Plone's "smart folders" in that the taxonomy provides organization of contents along multiple search paths.
Many thanks to the Tech Team for their help in providing feedback and for tagging content on the Plone site!
