We are refining further the new site architecure, have evaluated some alternative content management systems, and preparing site content migration plan.
John and Luis reviewed the Projects section of the site, which has been broadened to "Initiatives" while Nan worked on the Metadata Conventions, formerly called Vocabularies and Ontologies and Content Standards.
The Tools section is being reorganized.Andy is working on a site content migration plan, involving hundreds of objects that will need to be physically relocated on the new site.
The drupal content management system has been identified as a strong contender for MMI's content management system. We are evaluating how much time and effort will be required to move from one type of CMS to another. Testing for the content move will be made in April.
