Sensors with Interoperable Metadata Proposal
MMI is teaming with the Alliance for Coastal Technologies to propose a community approach to achieve interoperable sensor metadata.
The Marine Metadata Interoperability project is teaming with the Alliance for Coastal Technologies to pursue a shared vision to achieve sensor metadata interoperability. Our vision includes metadata standardization, manufacturer participation, community development, and technical leadership toward common goals.
We have submitted a proposal to the National Science Foundation in support of this goal, and will be contacting stakeholders in the community when an announcement of awards is made.
