OOSTethys - January 2007

TAMU, MBARI and CMOP/NANOOS SOS services are now available, and more capabilities were added. / OGC announced the start of the Ocean Sciences Interoperability Experiment, which is based largely on OOSTethys.

CMOP/NANOOS is working on the Python version. MBARI is working on an OPeNDAP wrapper and the JAVA cookbook. PERL cookbook was updated.  Quality classifiers, query-filters and POST capabilities is expected to be implemented in February.

The Open Geospatial Consortium announced the beginning of the Ocean Science Interoperability Experiment at the end of the month. This is based largely on the OOSTethys work already under way. Participants will have 6 months to deliver the results of their specification effort.
