Other Goals for Device Ontology Work

A brief description of some of the other important goals of this work.

Subgoals

We have a number of other goals we hope to achieve.

  1. Develop a community-agreed approach to developing an ontology for oceanographic sensors.
    1. Create a community of contributors.
    2. Find an agreeable approach.
    3. Validate the approach through application on this project.
  3. Create a list of sensors that can be used to drive development of the ontology.
