Status of Action Items

All action items are now in the trac system. Used report 1 to go over action items.

All the proposed approaches to deal with the issues faced so far are described in the trac system (and to some extent in the minutes from last month).

Results from Reviewing Sensor Variable Lists

Everyone took a look at the Excel spreadsheet. One problem immediately identified is the incorrect descriptions. Also we need to view all variables at one time to work with them better.

Luis suggests an alternate format to provide the data, like the one shown on Roy's page, where every variable gets a line. General agreement that this would be fine. We need to update the instructions to reflect this change.

We didn't get to analyze the detailed information in these spreadsheets as much as was hoped, so a little more preparatory analysis will be useful. We will be expecting a few more sets of spreadsheets in the next week, and will update the instructions in anticipation of that information.

How to Go Forward?

What next? Lacking any specific suggestions/recommendations from the community, Luis and John will take it upon themselves to come up with a strategy for applying this information before the next telecon. We will try to send out an email well before that telecon, so that everyone can prepare.

Please be aware that Luis is only going to be working for MMI through 2007.12.17. It is our fervent hope that he will be able to continue to attend these telecons, but even if that is possible, we need to identify another ontological developer to ensure progress continues. Please let me know if anyone fits that bill who can attend regularly.
