Central operations related with the new vocabulary re-hosting capability in the MMI repository have been implemented. Also, changes made in build and configuration files now allow the easy redeployment of the MMI services on different servers. This is proving useful already for testing purposes. Several bug fixes and miscellaneous enhancements were implemented. Also, preparations have been started to capture licensing information associated with the submitted ontologies.

Carlos Rueda's paper "The MMI Ontology Registry and Repository: A Portal for Marine Metadata Interoperability" (co-authored with Luis Bermudez and Janet Fredericks) was submitted to Oceans'09 MTS/IEEE Biloxi, http://www.oceans09mtsieeebiloxi.org/.

Carlos put together a high-level 9-month development plan related with the MMI Ontology Repository/Registry and related services (http://marinemetadata.org/node/7361/revisions/16550/view). Feedback from the Tech team has been requested.
