Ontologies—March 2009

Ontology for Devices: The group discussed possible approaches for alignment with the W3C Semantic Sensor Network Incubator Group. The general sense is that the group should follow this activity, but not decide exactly how to align with it just yet. The Device Ontologies group is going through one more iteration about the process to improve the ontology, and is considering various approaches, including Web collaboration tools and assignment of particular facets to subgroups.
