New Website Announcement!
DIVE members were introduced to the new website, and encouraged to join the group on the Drupal site. I discussed the possibility of hosting the email list for the DIVE team on the Drupal site, but determined this would be better handled in the future.
New Content Type and Taxonomies for Tools
Extensive discussions were held to determine the best way to present tools on the MMI site. It was determined that a new content type would provide maximum functionality for the site (and the DIVE). A draft content type was added to the dribble site.
In addition, based on early input from the DIVE team, we prepared to implement new taxonomies for the tools. We will be adding three new taxonomies:
- Tool Class: Description of the type of tool
- Function: Description of what each object does
- Maturity Level: While this was originally implemented using CCK, we will be adding a new taxonomy with formalized terms and definitions
Once we have this new functionality in place, we will convert the existing tools references into the new Tool content type.
