Update on MBARI Image Metadata

A brief update on MBARI image metadata related activites:

•  The proposal to integrate MBARI image management (using an advanced form of this metadata specification) was not approved by MBARI management last year, but a number of small opportunistic activities are likely to be pursued over time.
• Another MBARI activity working with our science images includes some time for improvement or implementation of this specification. 
• Several underwater systems that will be deployed this year will include an imaging camera, and the goal is to include this image specification metadata on all those images.
